Supplication looks for SIT test into pragmatist MM Kalburgi's murder



New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Wednesday looked for the reaction of test organizations NIA and CBI and the administrations of Maharashtra and Karnataka on a request looking for a Special Investigation Team (SIT) test into the murder of celebrated creator and realist MM Kalburgi in 2015.

A seat involving Chief Justice Dipak Misra and Justices A M Khanwilkar and D Y Chandrachud observed the appeal to documented by Uma Devi Kalburgi, spouse of the killed creator, and looked for the reaction of the investigative organizations and the two states inside a month and a half.

Kalburgi's better half, in her request of documented through Krishna Kumar,Mobile Number Database charged that no considerable test has been done as such far in the murder instance of her significant other.

Kalburgi, the previous Vice-Chancellor of Hampi University and an outstanding researcher and epigraphist, was shot dead at his living arrangement in Kalyan Nagar in Dharwad, Karnataka, on August 30, 2015. He was 77 years of age.

Kalburgi was a Sahitya Akademi grant winning essayist of old Kannada writing. He was conceived in Yaragal town in Vijayapura locale of north Karnataka in 1938.
